Initial Consultation
A one-on-one consultation with our genealogy expert to discuss your family history goals and provide insights into the research process
Pre-review of Existing Information:
A thorough review of any existing family history documents, records, and information you provide to identify gaps and starting points.
Genealogical Research:
This may include collecting family history related information on ancestors and their descendants, tracing lineage through generations, and verifying and cross-referencing data from various sources.
Documentation and Citations:
Detailed documentation of all sources consulted during genealogy research, including birth records, marriage certificates, census data, and more. Proper source citations to ensure the accuracy and credibility of the family tree research.
Time Log:
A detailed record of when family history research was conducted, how long each session lasted, and what specific tasks were performed during each genealogy research session.
Research Log:
A comprehensive document outlining the repositories explored, search terms used, information found, and source citations for each piece of information gathered.
Digital Copies:
Digital copies of relevant documents, numerically linked to the genealogy research log, for easy reference and review.
Written Report:
A final written report that encompasses the review of starting information, genealogy research conclusions and supporting evidence, resolution of conflicting evidence (if any), and suggestions for future family history research.
